South Jersey Surf @ Somers Point Captains* (DH)

The South Jersey Surf swept a double header against The Somers Point Captains on Tuesday night in SJSSBL action.  In game one The Surf won 5 to 2.

• Jacob Brennan got the start for The South Jersey Surf. and went five innings, allowing two runs on five hits, striking out seven and walking zero. Nick Nutile was was 1 for 2 with a RBI and Colin Lombardo was 1 for 2 with 2 runs scored to pace The Surf. Cole Campbell was 1 for 2 with a RBI for The Captains.  In game two The Surf won 2 to 0 as Mike Racobaldo threw a 6 inning no hitter striking out 10 and walking 4.  Nick Atohi hit the game winning 2 run homer in the 6th. Sean O’Rourke was the tough luck loser for The Captains going 6 and giving up 2 runs on 5 hits and striking out 6.  The Surf improve to 6 and 2 and The Captains drop to 1 and 6.
