The South Jersey Surf defeated The Egg Harbor Township Eagles in a double header on Wednesday night to improve to 8 and 2 on the year. In game one Nick Atohi threw 4 innings of no hit ball striking out 6 for the win. Atohi was also 3 for 3 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Colin Lombardo was 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored. Logan Petty was 1 for 2 with a homer and 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs. In game 2 The Surf won 10 to 0. Colin Lombardo was 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored and Logan Petty was 2 for 3 with an RBI and run scored. Omar Hernandez was 1 for 3 with a solo homer and Dom Buonadonna went 4 innings giving up 2 hits and striking out 6 for the win. Brian Wright and Cory Smith were both 1 for 2 for EHT. Next up for The Surf is a big showdown with The Northfield Cardinals at Birch Grove Park tonight at 7 with first place on the line.  The Surf defeated The Cards 7 to 1 on opening night. The Eagles next play on Monday night at home against The Somers Point Captains.
