The Egg Harbor City Knights defeated The Ocean City Water Dogs on Wednesday night 5 to 3 in SJSSBL play. Josh Wagner went the distance for The Knights to earn the win giving up 3 runs on 7 hits striking out 5. Zach Newman was 4 for 4 with 3 runs scored and Johnny Newman was 3 for 3 with 3 RBIs. The Water Dogs were lead by Jason Downey 2 for 3 with an RBI and Joe Gallagher 1 for 4 with an RBI and run scored. The Knights improved to 5 and 5 and The Water Dogs dropped to 3 and 4. Up next Ocean City is home against Buena tonight and The Knights will play at the Galloway Mustangs next Tuesday.
