The South Jersey Surf improved to 2 and 0 on the season after defeating the Egg Harbor City Knights on Tuesday night. Nick Atohi lead the way for the Surf going 3 for 3 with an RBI and 2 Runs scored. Colin Lombardo was clutch at the plate going 1 for 1 with 4 RBIs and 2 Runs scored. Sleiter Suriel and Anthony Feinstein both had 2 RBIs Kyle Transue threw four and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen to pick up the win. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits striking out 10.
For The Knights Jonathan Rivera was 2 for 4 with an RBI and Run scored. Steven Petrosh had 2 RBIs and a run scored while Johnny Newman had a base hit and 2 RBIs.
The Surf will host Somers Point on Friday night and Egg Harbor City hosts The Absecon Outlaws tonight.
