Coach Junior is a native of the Dominican Republic. He moved to the area in 1994 where shortly after that he began his playing career in Ventnor, NJ. He attended Atlantic City High School where was a 4-year varsity letter winner as a centerfielder and helped lead the Vikings back into the playoffs in 2002. After high school, coach Junior went on to play college ball at Division 1 Binghamton University before experiencing a set back with “Tommy John” surgery. After recovering from surgery, he went on to play a year of JUCO at Pasco-Hernando in Port Richey, Florida. He then finished his final two years of college at Division II powerhouse, The University of Tampa. While at Tampa, coach Junior was part of a Division II National Championship in 2007 and also garner several honors (2nd Team All-SSC, 2nd Team All-South Region, NCAA Division II Championship Series All-Tournament Team).

After graduating from The University of Tampa, coach Junior returned to the area and in 2011, he became an assistant coach at Atlantic City High School. He helped lead the Vikings back into the playoffs after a 10-year drought. After taking a year off from coaching last season, coach Junior is once again ready to continue his coaching stint with the Galloway Mustangs in the South Jersey South Shore Baseball League.
